Anticipation

Christmas is in the air... so "they" say. It's been years since I've anticipated the celebration of my Savior's birth with much excitement or zeal. I suppose I've been distracted with busyness before, but this year something is different. I am determined to stop and look at what had to be done on my behalf... to remember the temple of David and Solomon with the rituals that accompanied it. I will stop to investigate the prophecies that Jesus fulfilled (300 or so). Why was it that He had to be born of a virgin? How many generations removed was He from Adam? Jesus, Savior of the world, was around far before His birth. The mystery of His arrival on Earth begins before creation.

As the busy days approach... take some time to stop, reread, imagine, and become overwhelmed in the need for a Savior.

Swaziland in World Aids day snub

As the world finally pays attention to the dispair in Africa, it is certainly a disappointment to discover those most affected are declined the opportunity to focus on the issue. What is this king thinking?
